FY Lesbian Literature!

For literature about anyone who doesn't identify as a man and is romantically and/or sexually attracted to others who don't identify as men (not necessarily exclusively). Also, for pictures of said people with books.

This definition includes lesbians, but also bisexual or pansexual women and genderqueer people.

This is a trans*-, genderqueer-, asexual-, intersex-, bisexual-, pansexual-, and queer-friendly tumblr, or at least tries to be (feel free to tell me off if it isn't).

I also run the lesbian book blog The Lesbrary and my personal tumblr is danikathelesbrarian.

Please submit anything that's included in this definition. If not, expect a lot of Willow & Tara from Buffy and Xena & Gabrielle with literature spam.

So since we’re talking about books here.. well I was.. Huntress by Malinda Lo is amazing. Glofkjeghdfknhg BEAUTIFUL and everyone should read it.

It features two girls, (ok and like a prince) being awesome and badass. And in love with each other. Except the ending is sad because I WILL NOT SPOIL IT.

BUT IF YOU WANT A HAPPY ENDING (not that this Huntress’ ending is sad, it isn’t not really. It’s melancholic? Like it feels right even though it’s bittersweet… idek. BUT IT IS AWESOME) YOU SHOULD READ ASH BY SAME AUTHOR. It’s a bit of a retelling of Cinderella. Except it’s beautiful and there is beautiful girl love. AND STRONG FEMALE. LIke yeah. So yeah read em. XD

Also since we’re on books, Isabelle Allende also writes amazing books. So yes her too. She does a lot of Fantasy, combined with some historical fiction and it’s beautiful.
